By looking for any keyword in a search engine, I have easily found about 100 blogs with content I'm looking for, actually appeared more blogs than websites. Why do you think blogs are so popular?

I think it's pretty much because, they're easy to use, easy to get the informattion on, don't require much experience.

Ease of use mainly I think.

yeah definately. Blogs are very easy things to include keywords. Like you said search engines loves frequently updated contents. Thats why blogs are more popular.

Easy to manage especially for beginners and they run under a company that have networks so if you have a free blog from them you can easily get indexed.

Probably with blogger and google. I don't use blogs though coz I build my own sites in html.

Blogging is personalized. Most sites owners would like it to be that way. In blogging, you have this sense of "press freedom" . Besides, search engine friendly blog scripts are readily available for consumption by anyone .

Ultimately, just about anyone can have a blog. It really does come down to the internet for the masses, where everyone can be a writer.
