How powerful is forum signature links? Do you think it helps for the pagerank? I think it does. I had a site with no back links. I had around 50 forum signauters for that site. I got Page Ranking 2. Isnt that great?

I think links in signatures also helps because in Page Ranking, every back link counts. So it can definitely help your site to gain more PR.

Forum Signiture links are a powerful form of backlink as they can appear on hundreds if not thousands of pages very quickly. Big forums are crawled frequently by search engines, so these links are often picked up pretty quickly by search engines.

I wouldn't pay too much for them as some do due to the fact they are not ideally placed for targeted traffic (in general), though they are a cost effective way to dramatically improve your inbound links quickly.

The more posts you have in your forum with more signatures will help better you Page Ranking, especially if it's popular? Or will just 1 link work as well as 1000?

It's really effective if you're active in forums. I once searched for something in google and there are some results which is a link to a forum member's signature.

If I search for my friends site, google shows result in the forum signatures .

I think that it is useful only to some extent.
I do not think that you can get a PR5 if you rely only on forum signature links.
